1 Arrival — Amankora Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Textile Museum and Folk Heritage Museum. Check in to Amankora Thimphu.
2 Thimphu Valley
Explore Tashichho Dzong, Pangri Zampa monastery and traditional craft workshops. Optional hike to Cheri Goemba above the Wang Chhu river.
3 Thimphu to Punakha — Amankora Punakha
Cross Dochula Pass to Punakha valley. Visit Simtokha Dzong and Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Explore Talo Village or relax at the lodge.
4 Punakha Valley Hike
Hike along the Mo Chhu river to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Tour Punakha Dzong and stroll to Chimi Lhakhang through mustard fields.
5 Punakha to Paro — Amankora Paro
Cross Dochula Pass back west to Paro. Afternoon at leisure in Paro town.
6 Paro Valley
Visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and Paro Dzong. Afternoon: Dumtse Lhakhang and Kyichu Lhakhang (7th century).
7 Tiger's Nest Pilgrimage
4 to 5 hour trek to Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), 900m above the valley. Mule assistance available. Afternoon spa at Amankora Paro.
8 Departure from Paro
Early transfer to Paro International Airport.
